We are looking for an experienced and reliable Qualified Painter / Decorator to join our growing team in New Plymouth, Taranaki.

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Painter with NZ industry experience
Minimum 3 years painting experience
Residential and commercial painting experience
Interior and exterior painting skills
Strong preparation and finishing skills
Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Full NZ driver licence preferred
Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests, and random tests thereafter
NZ Qualifications Preferred Applicants should hold one of the following:
NZ Certificate in Painting and Decorating (Level 4)
National Certificate in Painting and Decorating
Completed Painting Apprenticeship
Equivalent trade qualification recognised by NZQA
Preferred Experience
Spray painting
Plaster repairs / gib stopping
Commercial construction sites
Site Safe passport
Working at heights or scaffold experience

About the Role You’ll be responsible for:
Surface preparation
Sanding, filling, stripping, and priming
Interior and exterior painting
Applying paints, stains, and protective coatings
Maintaining high-quality finishes
Following workplace health and safety procedures
