You will be operating excavators on a range of civil construction projects — from earthworks and trenching to site preparation and drainage. You’ll work closely with site supervisors and crew to ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Hourly rate will vary depending on your experience and abilities (Non-GPS, GPS, bulk work, final trim, etc.).

Successful candidates must have:

• Minimum 2 years experience

• Proven experience in operating 30 tonne machines and Hitachi original controls

• The ability and willingness to labour on the ground, when required

• Proven ability to operate safely and accurately

• Valid WTR endorsements and Class 2 licence (minimum)

• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures

• Provide two good references, and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
