Hourly Rates:

• Wages - $30.00 to $38.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay

• Contractor - $42.00 to $48.00 per hour

This role is ideal for someone with strong structural carpentry experience who can work efficiently on large commercial sites while maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Structural framing and commercial carpentry

• Formwork, boxing, and concrete preparation

• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

• Installing structural timber and construction components

• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Working alongside site managers and other trades onsite

• Maintaining safe work practices and site compliance

• Delivering high-quality work within project deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years’ commercial carpentry experience

• Experience on structural or large-scale commercial projects

• Ability to read and work from plans

• Strong understanding of NZ commercial construction standards

• Current Site Safe Passport

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

• Own tools preferred

• Full driver licence and reliable transport

• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing

Preferred Tickets & Experience Highly regarded but not essential:

• Working at Heights

• EWP / Scissor Lift

• First Aid

• Concrete formwork experience

• Experience on high-rise or infrastructure projects

Health & Safety Requirements Successful applicants must be committed to:

• Following the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

• Wearing PPE correctly at all times

• Hazard identification and reporting

• Toolbox meetings and site safety procedures

• Maintaining clean and safe work areas
