We are seeking experienced and motivated LBP CERTIFIED BUILDERS to join our growing construction team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and supervise Restricted Building Work (RBW)

• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and consent documentation

• Ensure all work complies with the New Zealand Building Code

• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety

• Complete projects within agreed timelines and budgets

• Conduct site measurements, framing, cladding, finishing, and general carpentry tasks

• Maintain accurate records and documentation where required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Applicants must hold the following:

• Current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) licence issued by the
  Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment

• New Zealand-recognised carpentry qualification such as:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4), or equivalent trade qualification

• Current Site Safe Passport (we can help you acquire this)

• Valid New Zealand driver licence

• Legal right to work in New Zealand

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on building experience

• Experience with residential new builds and renovations

• Strong knowledge of:

  • New Zealand Building Code

  • Building consent processes

  • Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

• Ability to lead apprentices and junior builders

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
